To deepen the understanding of human rights, CSHRN has published a booklet on the interpretation of the terms used in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, called “Interpretation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights”. This helps Afghan people to grasp the broader meaning of human rights and to be able to understand how human rights can be applied to the situation in their country. CSHRN has published several booklets on specific issues of importance in the present situation in the country: One booklet illustrates the meaning of the different terms used in the Universal Declaration on Human Rights. One booklet is about the “Rights of Refugees and Returnees”, where the basic principles are explained and the way they can be applied to the current situation in Afghanistan. Another booklet deals with the “Right to Access to Information” in which the importance of access to information for the implementation of human rights is explained as well as the connection to the current legislation in Afghanistan. Newsletters
Every three months, CSHRN publishes a newsletter in Dari presenting activities and achievements of the network, so that all the members as well as other interested persons and institutions have a clear idea what CSHRN is doing. In the newsletter also detailed articles about the debates and workshops that took place within the network are provided in order to promote a dialogue on these subjects.
