What does the section do?
The purpose of this section is to increase the knowledge and understanding of member and partner organizations in all different fields of human rights. This should enable them to carry out their specific work for the protection of human rights in a more efficient and effective way.
The section also works for increasing the capacities of its members with regard to project management and institutional capacity building.
For reaching these goals, CSHRN disposes of different types of working methods; it offers different specifically tailored educational programs for its member organizations and has at their disposal a pool of around 50 trainers.

The knowledge of conducting human rights schools was brought to Afghanistan by the Danish Institute for Human Rights (for more information, refer please to www.humanrights.dk), which has experiences in this field from its work in Africa, the Balkans, and Central Asian countries.

A workshop consists of 15 to 25 persons. During the workshops, which are facilitated by trainers of CSHRN, the theory and practice of human rights in Afghanistan are discussed.
